As Longhurst Group Chief Executive, Julie Doyle has ensured a strong platform for future success by reshaping the organisation, achieving considerable value for money savings and delivering substantial growth.

With over 25 years’ experience in the housing sector, Julie remains committed to ensuring the Group continues to realise its ambition of being a leading developer that improves people’s lives by providing high-quality housing and care and support services.

Since becoming Chief Executive in 2015, Julie has overseen a significant period of change that’s included the merger with Axiom in 2017 and the streamlining of 19 different boards and committees into one coterminous structure.

Deputy Chief Executive

Having joined Longhurst Group in 1994, Rob has been Chief Financial Officer since 2006 and became Deputy Chief Executive in 2015. He leads the Group’s Operational Finance and Corporate Finance Teams and is the Executive Team lead for Housing, Customer and Property Services.

Rob has led and been involved in many key growth projects, with extensive experience in developing a business plan that’s now delivering around 700 new homes each year across a range of different tenures.

Rob is a member of the National Housing Federation’s Finance Policy Advisory Group and also sits on the Financial Reporting Council’s Technical Advisory Group.

Having held IT leadership roles across a variety of sectors, Guv joined the Longhurst Group in 2023 as Chief Information Officer.

With a wealth of experience in retail, healthcare and consumer goods, Guv has a proven track record in leading businesses through change. He joined the Group as the housing sector moves towards a more insight-driven future, designed with customers – and their changing needs – in mind.

Lynn Stubbs

Chief People & Governance Officer

Lynn has worked in the housing sector for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience leading a broad range of operational customer facing services as well as corporate services like HR, Communications and Governance.

Lynn joined Longhurst Group in 1996 to lead on performance and quality initiatives within the organisation, moving into a variety of leadership roles, before joining the Executive Team in 2015. She currently leads on people, governance, compliance and communications and is passionate about delivering a great colleague and customer experience.

Marcus Keys

Chief Development & Commercial Officer

Marcus joined Longhurst Group in May 2019 and is responsible for development and sales, as well as asset investment and optimisation. This includes decarbonisation, stock surveys and planned investment. Since September 2023, Marcus has also overseen the specialist housing and homeownership directorate.

He has a wealth of experience in the public and private sector, predominantly in the housing arena, having previously worked for organisations such as Futures Housing Group, Balfour Beatty, Lovell, The Housing Forum and Places for People.

Chief Financial Officer

Mona began her career in the media sector after qualifying as an accountant. She has over 25 years’ experience working in housing and loves working for organisations that make a difference. Mona joined Grand Union in February 2019 from Sovereign Housing Association where she was finance director for three years. Prior to that, she was at Catalyst Housing. She is also a Non-Executive Director at another housing association.

Mona has also worked in media, insurance and has run her own travel business. In her current role as Executive Director of Finance and Business Services, Mona oversees the Finance, IT, Corporate Services and Governance teams.

Phil Hardy

Phil has worked in housing for over 25 years and firmly believes that high quality affordable housing is a fundamental cornerstone for current and future generations achieving their aspirations. He joined Grand Union in August 2017. As Executive Director of Operations he’s responsible for all customer facing services, such as customer experience and independent living as well as property and development. Phil has also led the organisation’s ambitious transformation programme.

A Board member at Solihull Community Housing, chairing their Housing Operations Committee, Phil is also a former Chair of Connection Support, a charity providing specialist support to people with complex life challenges. Before joining Grand Union, he held senior positions at Sovereign Housing Association and Oxford Citizens Housing Association after starting his housing career at Ashfield District Council.
