Dangerous dogs
Legally, any dog breed or type can be considered dangerous if:
- it bites a person or animal
- it is not kept under control by its owner
- it shows aggressive behaviour that makes someone fear their safety
If you are in fear of your safety, or have experienced an incident with a dangerous dog, please contact the Police immediately.
Please make a follow-up report to us
Once you have reported it to the Police, you’ll need to:
- contact us by phone or via our online ASB form with the
- include the Police incident report number and the officer’s name
Our team will open a case and get back to you ASAP with next steps.
