Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming members from West Northants Council to our Overstone Leys site in Northamptonshire.
This visit was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the significant progress we’ve made in delivering beautiful, high-quality homes to the community.
Welcoming our guests
We were honored to welcome Cllr Rosie Herring, Housing Portfolio Holder within West North Council along with Jane Carr, Director of Communities and Opportunities and Jodie Archer, Assistant Director of Housing and Communities.
Our dedicated staff took great pride in presenting our development and highlighting the positive impact it’s having on the local area.
Project highlights
During the visit, we shared some key highlights of our project:
- Total homes: We are delivering a total of 185 homes, with 93 by Taylor Wimpey and 92 by Vistry.
- Affordable housing: Out of these, 129 homes are designated for affordable rent, and 56 homes are for shared ownership.
- Progress to date: Since January 2023, we have successfully delivered 63 homes, including 41 for affordable rent and 22 for shared ownership.
- Future plans: The remainder of the site will be developed in phases with an estimation to complete in 2027, offering a diverse mix of 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom houses.

The visit from West Northants Council was a testament to the collaborative efforts between our organisation and the local authority to ensure the success of this project.
