Fence, boundary or right of way disputes

Return to the ASB Toolkit

We would not consider fencing or boundary disputes as Anti-Social Behaviour.

  • You may want to have a friendly word with your neighbour as they may not be aware you can hear them. We’ve put together some tips to help you resolve problems with neighbours.
  • Your Housing Officer may be able to give general advice on how to tackle boundary disputes with your neighbours. It is worth noting that fencing is the responsibility of the tenant and will not be provided by the Association but advice may be given on the boundary definition.
