Making my
own improvements

If you wish to carry out improvements, alterations or additions to your home you must obtain our written permission before you start any work, by completing the online form at the bottom of this page.

 Examples of improvements, alterations or additions that you need to notify us of include:

  • erecting a garden shed / summerhouse / greenhouse
  • adding or upgrading fencing / patio
  • adding Wi-Fi / a satellite dish / tv aerial
  • laying new flooring, except carpet
  • adding special features for disabled persons
  • adding to or extending the property
  • installing an EV charger

Read through the Additional Advice section below and then fill out our online request form. We will review the changes you wish to make and let you know if they are possible.

Before completing your permission request make sure all your rent, service charges and bills have been paid in full.

If you have an issue with your home, you may need to book a repair
