Grand Union’s flagship extra care scheme in Biggleswade has been nominated for a national award.
Chamomile Gardens has been nominated for a Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Award in the category of Best Large Social Housing Development, having already won the regional award for the Central region.
Completed in November 2022, the extra care scheme in Biggleswade is the largest scheme Grand Union has built. It has 93 one and two-bedroom apartments for over-55s and offers independent living with tailored care and support.
The Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence awards will be held in London on 19 January 2024.
