We’re pleased to confirm that on Monday, 16 December 2024, Longhurst Group and Grand Union merged to form a single organisation.

The new organisation’s name is Amplius.

Amplius is the trading name of Amplius Living, which is a charitable registered society. We’re legally registered as Amplius Living and this is the name you’ll see on official documents. However, our brand name is Amplius. This is the name and logo you’ll see on things like our our vans and our colleagues’ ID badges.

Amplius means ‘more’ or ‘further’ in Latin and that’s exactly what we’re determined to do – to be better and do more for our customers while continuing to provide quality affordable homes and services.

What’s new?

As well as our new name, we have a new logo and brand. For a while, you may still see the Grand Union logo on some things, like our vans. In time this will all change to Amplius.

As you can see, our website’s have a makeover to be in the new Amplius branding.

It’s really important that you visit the right website. If your landlord was Grand Union, please don’t click on what was Longhurst Group’s website. This is because some of the services provided will continue to be different while we work to combine our systems.

What’s new?

Some things will be the same for a while. We still have a lot of work to do to fully bring our services together. We’re going to take our time to do this. That way we’ll get it right and make sure we can provide the best possible experience to you.

So, for now, you’ll still call the same phone number to speak to our team: 0300 123 5544.

It’s really important that you don’t call what was Longhurst Group’s number if you were a Grand Union customer. This is because they won’t be able to help you while we work to combine our systems.

And you’ll still access your portal account at my.guhg.co.uk using your existing login. – It’ll look different as it’s now in the Amplius branding too.
