Fly-tipping
Fly-tipping is a criminal offence.
If you’ve seen items near your home that you think have been fly-tipped, start by speaking to your neighbours. Ask them if the items are theirs and if they’ve made plans to clear them. You can use these tips for speaking to your neighbours.
If the fly-tipping is in a public space, like a park or on the street, please:
- contact your local Environmental Health Officer
- they will arrange for the items to be removed.
If the fly-tipping is within one of our communities, please:
- contact us via email and attach a photo if possible
- we will arrange for the items to be removed.
