Can I remove my name from our joint tenancy?

Both joint tenants need to request this, in order that our Relocations team can check your tenancy and circumstances. You can do this by sending an email to our Customer Contact team at help@guhg.co.uk . Where it is agreed that a tenancy can be changed from joint names to the sole name of one tenant, our Relocations team will arrange for you both to sign the necessary paperwork.

If both joint tenants do not agree, you will need to seek independent advice, for example from Citizens Advice.

Can I add a joint tenant to my tenancy?

Unfortunately this cannot be done, however you are able to add them as an occupant if they agree.

Can I add or remove someone as an occupant?

You can do this via your MyGUHG account at https://my.guhg.co.uk/login or by sending an email to our Customer Contact team at help@guhg.co.uk .  To add an occupant you will need to provide their Date of Birth, NI Number (if aged 16 years or over) and contact details.

Can I change my name on my tenancy?

Please send to us your deed poll or marriage/divorce certificate confirming your official change of name and we can then change your tenancy record.
